I'm not postpartum anymore but I wish I had had that when I was. I took it for the bath. You don't need much (about half a cup for a full bath). Simply shake to dissolve or pour under running water when full. Smells amazing! I definitely smell the geranium and lavender which are so relaxing. I bought these to prepare for my postpartum recovery and ended up having a c-section. I couldn't bathe for a while, but when I could, I took my baby and the salt was wonderful for both of us. The aroma is soothing and the salts are moisturizing. I think we both found the bath relaxing and soothing. The top has a Velcro closure and is easy to open and close. When I ordered it I didn't know it was for a postpartum bath so can't say much about it. The scent is amazing, not too strong but strong enough to be felt. I got this because I sleep badly and I saw lavender in it. I take one of these baths at least every other day and it helps a lot. When I come out of the bath my skin is very hydrated. I have eczema on my hands which makes my hands very dry. It helps a lot with that. Even if you don't have a childbed, I can still highly recommend it.

I love bath salts with essential oils. It smells so good and the lavender in this salt is so relaxing.
