The projector works great!

This is a great projector for our nonprofit organization. We use this weekly to view PowerPoint presentations through the computer. It replaces the old version and I especially like the new USB ports it offers. The standard SVGA connections are still present but are not required.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

6 star value for money

Very bright in our bedroom converted into a home cinema. A lot more settings (keystone, invert, etc.) than I expected. We bought this based on its good brightness ratings. It's great for a room that gets some light through the blinds, with a 100-inch diagonal screen. Precise focus lets you see the edges of the VGA pixels.

It's easy, it works!

I will not go into technical details about this product. I don't know enough about projectors to write a meaningful review, but as a consumer: buy, get, plug in, follow instructions and it worked! It worked exactly as advertised and did so a couple of times a week, connecting to Windows XP, 7 and 8 devices as well as Macbooks. Exactly what I paid for and exactly what I expected.

Amazing performance for the price

I was looking for a projector that I could take with me to show PowerPoint slides and some video clips. I didn't want to spend a fortune, so I was happy with a resolution of 800 x 600 and 2600 lumens instead of the 2800 that most of the competition offered. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of really nice features. The projector came with a remote control and I was able to connect the projector to my Windows PC and use the projector remote to navigate through the slides. The picture quality was…

Great product for this money!

Great product for the money. I bought it for home use and occasional student club use. I don't think I could find anything else for the same price that works as well. That being said, below are the observations I made after a month of use and about 50 hours. We connected it to 3 different sources (Xbox, computer, camcorder) and used 4 different methods (USB, Fire, AV and 9 pin). USB connection is GOOD. It should load the software the first time it connects but it worked without any issues and…

VS210 – Bottom Line Projector

To summarize: PROS* Easy setup (which is important to me). I got it up and running in about 15 minutes.* Easy to adjust to the size and shape of the screen (assuming you can easily move the projector back and forth in front of the screen)* USB plug and play indeed has works for me on the two Macs I tested *bright image on screen *can be turned off immediately *In the box was a page with a tech support phone number. I called and spoke to a technical advisor and he taught me the solution and…
