Escali F115 Compact Kitchen Scale: Precise 11 lb/5 kg Measurement, Sleek Stainless Steel Design Review

This is the second scale of this type that I have ordered. The first was and still is very useful. The weight shown is exactly the same as every other kitchen scale I compare it to. This scale was so useful to me that I ordered a second scale to keep across the kitchen. I prefer it because it takes up very little counter space.

It's fairly easy to use, but its touch buttons are very annoying and the weight displayed depends on where you place the object to be weighed and how flat the surface is under the scale. I know these are portable scales but for the price I expected them to perform much better than they actually do and be much more accurate than they actually are.

This is a good product but it doesn't reset. It's not the manufacturer's problem, it's my problem. I would have preferred something that could be set back so I could set my plate down and then measure my food. But I love it for travel and I'm glad I bought it. Note to the manufacturer: next time you can improve the design by being able to reset the measurement scale as I indicated.

This is our second scale. Our first one failed after 3 years of use for inexplicable reasons. We ordered another one because we couldn't do without it (thanks to Revain for being so quick), BUT! After the dust settled, I called the service number from the box and explained the problem. The service employee immediately sent us a REPLACEMENT scale. Very surprised and delighted. We keep two because we can't live without them.

I'm guessing this thing is for small drug dealers because it's too small for kitchen use - I think they'll say "spices" but nobody will did it. Time for that level of single tasking. This scale is incredibly easy to use and extremely handy for lunch with friends/at work to weigh groceries. Since I track my macros (via weight), I needed something that would fit in my pocket and be non-intrusive. This is the benchmark!
