Just right for computers and accessories

They fit perfectly in my Cooler Master case, the originals are lost. Well I found them later, now I have an extra.

worked like clockwork

everything worked and fit as it should. You'll need to mount the metal pin that's inside the plastic mount, but that was easy.

Works great but one pack is missing pins

Well first of all yes it doesn't have to be screws it's pins. They simply push into the side of the drive, and a brace in the case holds everything in place. If you don't have a case with drive slots, this device isn't for you. In my case, however, they work perfectly. However, 1 set of rails is missing pins, making it unusable. Luckily I only had to mount one drive.

NOT for an SSD drive, but what about the push pins?

This does NOT apply to SSD drives. I have a slim mounting case that just fits the drive and rails, they don't have holes that line up with the SSD and they don't have screws, it's kind of a push pin system - what should you do with what? Screws are required to fix the SSD. Absolutely useless. When I send it back I just go to my local computer store where I can see exactly what's on sale.

The product is good in principle, but there were problems. And only 4 sentences.

So the product has done its job. It basically worked. However, do not repeat my mistake. When I saw the 8 pack I thought they were 8 packs - I was wrong. There were 8 rails for a total of 4 rail kits, so you can only install 4 drives in the 8 pack. It looks a little misleading, but if I read more closely I would understand. Each set also comes individually wrapped. One of the packages was missing the pins needed to install the actuator. I had to contact Revain and get a replacement which theyโ€ฆ

Cooler Master hard drive rails with crappy screws

I'll start my review by not knowing these are Cooler Master brand hard drive rails. Product images on Revain confirm this after further analysis. I bought these rails expecting them to be generic Chinese mounting rails and was pleasantly surprised to see the CM logo on them. The rails themselves are good, have rubber mounts for the screws and appear to be of sufficient quality for their purpose. But beware of the supplied "screws"! Those aren't screws! The included "screws" for attachment areโ€ฆ
