Haven't had this in a while so can't speak to durability but it's very easy to use seems accurate (it weighs the same all the time Objects such as mine portafilter, carafe, coffee mug, etc.). It has a tare function and a timer. I fill exactly 17 grams of coffee into the portafilter and then use the timer function to see if I get a double shot within 25-30 seconds. So far I'm quite happy with it.

I use this coffee scale. Readings seem accurate on big jumps, and they take a second to be accurate. I've tried checking the readings by moving them and inserting a portafilter to see if the readings change and stay the same. The only real downside I can think of is how light or cheap it seems. I feel like I have to be gentle with it when I move it. Not sure how long it will last but for the moment it seems very good for the price.

I needed a scale that could be used to both measure the area in my portafilter and measure shots.
