Looks like real silicone with a stronger inner core to keep it on the phone. It's very light because it doesn't have a back, and it feels really different because there's no back to put your hands on. So it may need to be adjusted if you've never had one like this before.

In general the product seems to be of quite good quality. Things can only go in one direction, so your buttons are always aligned. Advantages: + good fit + noticeable feeling of protection + good grip/surface quality. Cons: - Slightly thicker than expected. Looking for a very thin bumper (like mine). If drop protection is important to you but you want to leave the back open for Magsafe accessories, this is a pretty good option.
