Used it to determine the sex of the baby

It's a boy The only problem is there are bits of plastic from the ball lying around in my brother-in-law's garden where we made the opening. I would deduct a star but this is not my garden.

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • There are downsides

Great for the price

Definitely a set worth buying. Not super brittle but breaks easily enough. I wanted more color but the balls are regular size golf balls so there aren't many. Definitely worked and would buy again at this price

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Negative gift

Not exactly what I expected

A few years ago I had a few that just blew up. I think they might have been loaded with the same fireworks as the childish fireworks. They're just brittle plastic balls with blue or pink powder inside. They shatter when hit with a club, but don't explode.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative experience

Works but generally doesn't fool people

I've used them as gags for my friends on the course but they don't really look or feel like real golf balls upon closer inspection, that is me had to lay my friends' eggs if I wanted to surprise them. I also had a friend who fired a failed wedge and it didn't explode. As a result, I would not advise trying irons. However, the explosion itself worked well and was a lot of fun.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Weight
