Solid American Made Hammer

Pretty straightforward. The steel looks nice, I like how the rubber material of the handle blends into the steel. Feels well done. The head is a little larger than I expected, which isn't a bad, more noticeable area. Overall, it looks like it's doing exactly what it's supposed to.

Great Hammer best in Claw Hammers

I like a heavier hammer and this fits right in. I have a 16 ounce Eswing that has been used heavily for about thirty years and has not suffered any damage. In my opinion, estwing seems to be a nearly indestructible product. My only downside to this hammer is that it makes a ringing noise when hit, which is a bit distracting.

  • This is awesome

For men, not boys

This hammer is not for the average man. I just upgraded my 22oz which I've been using for over 10 years and I love the 28oz, it's like a mini sledgehammer so gets the job done a lot quicker. If you enjoy decorating this hammer is oversized, but for framing and wall support this hammer will get the job done. Fast shipping too! I'm in New Zealand and delivery was within 5 days of ordering.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Functionality

Excellent hammer, suitable for hand tools

This is my favorite frame hammer. I've been using Estwing 28 oz for 25 years. I usually get about 7-8 years of work from one before the handle wears out too much. The only thing I've noticed with this and my newest hammer is that the handle material is softer than my previous hammers and seems to wear out a little quicker. But more pleasant to the touch thanks to a softer grip. That should be enough for me to finish my carcasses.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost never

USA Estwing hammers are perfect in every way

Don't buy any other hammer. If you see USA Estwing, just buy it even if you already have it. If you live your life right, after your funeral at the Applebees, your grandkids will be fighting over who gets the Pe-Pops Estwing collection. If your 28oz is put to particularly good use, it will tell stories about you too. Feats they won't repeat at a family reunion until they all have a 7+ natty and REALLY want to impress everyone with how cool pe-pop was back then. You will never regain your self…

Nothing beats the feel of an Estwing hammer in my hands. This is the only hammer I've used as a general contractor since my first purchase a year ago. I'm retired now, three years old, but I still need a good hammer. Mine went missing with a friend two weeks ago after a small basement renovation. He swears he didn't take it home with him. So I looked for one at several local hardware stores. Nada. So I turned to Revain and here it is. A HAMMER.

Estwing is made in the USA what more can I say

First off I am an Estwing fan and have several of their products. Everything is excellent for me. However, there are always little things that can be improved. They in no way affect the usability or durability of the product. However, there is a small (very small) nail grinding defect. I can't fix anything; but it's something I have a personal preference for. This does not affect the use of the hammer. It's just personal because I'm using a hammer like that. The hammer can be used for multiple…
