Mounting screws missing

Came without mounting screws, couldn't mount it to the wall unless I spent quality time driving 20 miles to the hardware store to try and find the right ones.

Pros
  • Standard
Cons
  • Damaged

Doesn't allow gigabit speeds

After running cables all over my house and only seeing 100 megabit speeds, I had to test each connection to see which was the weakest link in the chain, all of it brought to a halt. It turned out that there were locking connectors in this panel! I replaced them with others I had laying around and immediately saw gigabit ports. They work great at 100Mbps, but why pay for Cat6 when it doesn't work? look elsewhere

Pros
  • Detachable
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Great ethernet port for a low price

I installed it in the wall next to the internet router to run internet cables to other rooms. It's pretty easy to install, just cut a small square hole in the drywall and then attach it to the wall with the 2 screws provided. It's also easy to remove to add and reinstall extra cables. With this junction box (and a single-port junction box for each room that needs an internet connection), only a short Ethernet cable is required to connect a port to the computer. Of course, running long Ethernet…

Pros
  • No cable connection
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
