You will need metal clips

I have a 12" stainless steel Ettore handle that is about 25 years old and this replacement wiper fits perfectly. However, to keep it in place, 2 brass metal clips from the original are required to attach it to the rail on the handle. The two screws don't clamp it tight enough to hold it. Otherwise he reused my old grip. Big scraper!

I'm glad I found this at Revain

Glad I found this on Revain.com. I wasn't sure I could even replace the blade, but the brass scraper itself was in such good condition that I didn't want to just throw it away. I'm glad I checked out Revain.com. This replacement rubber is just as good as the original rubber on the blade.

Where are the clips?

Ettore rubber works well but this was my first time replacing a rubber blade and I wasn't aware that small brass or stainless steel clips are required to hold the blade. an old scraper, especially if the rubber has not been changed for a long time. It seems like interchangeable clips should match the rubber. This is an example of the old military adage that "things that need to fit together to work don't usually come together". I think Ettore could provide better customer service by integrating

good scraper; Better Company

I'm confused about the clip references but I have a model that was designed for use with bars (tired of cheap plastic). My 12" wide Ettore stainless steel scraper came without clips and it would be impossible to fit the replacement rubber with the clips in place. That's a good scraper. My scraper has been used to dry glass and faux marble stable walls for the past two years. Shower every day before the gum goes weak. Ettore's five stars are for both customer service and a great device. I…

It's hard to justify buying this replacement rubber.

later if you can get a brand new Ettore 12 inch stainless steel scraper for about 50 cents more. But I bought it anyway and took the opportunity to install it to take it apart and give my 20+ year old scraper a thorough cleaning. Today I will write a review about the scraper and describe how I cleaned it. Several reviewers have pointed out that the replacement rubber does not come with "clips". It's true, and until I disassembled my Ettore I didn't know there were clips. They appear to be…
