I have just received an order for 6 eufy Lumi plug-in night lights. I really like the product, but unfortunately 2 of the 6 light bulbs didn't work in a completely darkened room. The only way to get those bulbs to glow is to put a piece of tape over the sensor. The light didn't come on when the room was completely dark. The doors were closed so no ambient light came in from the other room. There was no lighting from the devices to which the light is assigned (computers, alarm clocks, phones…

Good - turns on automatically when ambient light gets too low, e.g. B. at night. The bad - my outlets at home are horizontal instead of vertical as shown in the product photos. The light itself is very bright and faces down when plugged into a vertical outlet. All 6 work great. The light falls mostly downwards, but also slightly outwards. There is enough light to see without being uncomfortable or glaring. I have found that I have two outlets that are old and used frequently and these bulbs do not work in those outlets. They only work in outlets that provide a tight fit and secure connection. These very small headlights give a nice, soft but bright wide angle light from the light source. The most striking thing about them is that the automatic operation is excellent. Most "automatic" night lights seem to stay on unless the room is very bright. They claim to adjust the light intensity based on the ambient light. This is the best regular plug in night light I have ever seen. The light color is warm and unobtrusive. The light is reflected downwards to avoid glare. The light actually casts interesting diffused shadows that can make a large room look more intriguing. One of those 20 x 20 foot covers is easy if you go after waking up, but it's still dark.
