Actually a decent grater but it's just too big. It's about the size of a large soda pop in an American fast food restaurant. It would be better if it was about half the size - it would be easier to store and easier to use.

The grating comes in the form of a sip in the grater! Less cheddar off the counter, no need to grate paper plates or tortillas. Works great and is great. You will need to file and manipulate where the seam ends at the top, mine is a bit rough.

Although I still have a piece of wax paper to grate, most of what I grate falls into the bucket. I love the large size and rounded shape, making this grater easier to use and clean than the standard square grater I've been using for over 30 years. It doesn't hurt that it looks great too. This is a great update.

I had trouble figuring out how to hold this as the stitching on what I received is sharp. Also, this grater makes a mess when grating cheese, which is why I bought it: to grate cheese without messing up the counter! And then I missed the return window, so I'm stuck with an expensive, subpar grater. I'm going to use my inexpensive IKEA grater with a detachable container.

This is the best and our whole Italian family loves it. We've had graters of all shapes and sizes over the years and this one is awesome. NO mess or WASTE! We buy cheese in big chunks because we consume a lot, cook a lot and until now nobody liked the job of grating cheese. Stop arguing about which one to buy and just get this one. We have now given a bouquet of flowers for the holidays as a "gift to the hostess" - everyone likes it.
