I thought the rubber strap would have a purpose but not repulsive. They are very difficult to put on and I have to put in a lot of effort to find them comfortable which I have never done. The fabric is soft, the design is not successful.

Bought these for a friend and she only used them at home to warm her head as she felt it made her "look like a cancer patient". I know she had cancer and is getting chemo, but she had other options that didn't make her look and feel like this. I also noticed that the rubber band had left red marks at the base of the skull. If I ever need something like this again, I would go for Soft Beanies.

Good for the days when I'm going nowhere and I don't see anyone. I accidentally tossed them in the washing machine (hand wash only) and they all came out oddly shaped. I think of them as comfy pajamas that you don't see in public but are great to wear at home.
