This lid doubles as an opening for the Anova Sous Vide (shown) and prevents water from evaporating during long cooking times (e.g. stews). They are the perfect combination to allow ANOVA to sit in a corner and maximize the sides to attach sous vide bags. It's a really tight fit and only fits one way with ANOVA, but the seal is perfect for long cook times. I cooked the ribs in 48 hours without wasting any water! This is a well matched and finished lid for your Rubbermaid 12 liter container. This lid is much better than the white rubber lid that came with the container, great quality, good seal, should last a long time and is perfect for my 12 liter sous vide setup.
