Everlast Professional Wraps 180 Inch Black Review

I bought the yellow ones from Amazon and the black ones from the store a few years ago. Same size, same brand. The yellow ones are much thinner and mostly broke after just one use because the velcro touched them and broke. You can see in the photos the black ones are thicker yet durable. Those yellow ones are either a fake or Everlast has gone down in price a lot. In any case, save your money and choose another.

The Velcro on these garments are STRONG and every time they touch the cotton they ruin the fabric. So I learned to fold the velcro myself every time. I hand wash them about every week and use them 3 or 4 times a week. They seem to last a few months and you don't want them to last longer. From a practical point of view, months of sweat in your gloves will not help your hygiene. All in all a good product and excellent service.

This is a review of yellow bandages. The quality is ok, I've used Everlast bandages before and they're pretty decent. The reason I'm only giving them 3 stars is a listing issue: the wraps are described as a cotton/spandex blend but are actually a nylon/polyester blend. This is important because they have velcro and the nylon catches in the velcro and wears out much quicker than cotton bandages. Other than that they're ok, the color is bright (not that it matters) and for the price you can't get

I'm disappointed in these bandages because I box 4 days a week. They arrived and I put them on the next day. The material is thin, not suitable for hand protection. Fairly stretchy, sturdy for effective wrapping and stays in place. What really amazes me is that the velcro and stitching come loose from the fabric after just one use. I wear them every weekend. A long bandage keeps my hands and wrists safe and healthy in boxing gloves. I hand washed them and threw them in the dryer before putting them on. They fit perfectly and I've washed them in the washing machine many times since. (I'm very glad I hand washed them originally as the red dye was very noticeable in the rinse water. I had to rinse them several times before the bleeding stopped). Others in my boxing class use different bandages and I feel like mine is better.

Disclaimer: I purchased and fitted these to use as wrist wraps, not hand wraps. I bought these with the intention of using them as wrist wraps. My coach recommended them and the boy is doing his job.
