Has a peace sign on top

The filter went up THREE times before I could order it. It is important to know that there is a "peace sign" at the top. My countertop model works with it, without - no.

I would like to see the filter get dirty. Works fine but you can't open it.

Too bad you can't look inside. I think next time it gets old I'll cut it open to see if it looks dirty. I'm not sure if it looks like new. It's probably better if it's all metal so it doesn't burst under constant pressure. Could it be thick glass like a champagne bottle? Then we'll see how it gets dirty.

Disappointed with this purchase!

This is my fourth cartridge change and so far they have worked perfectly. This last cartridge is an exception. When I unwrapped the cartridge, I saw a dark substance on it that I assumed was charcoal. I washed the top to remove material and installed the filter. I flushed the system for about 15 minutes before using water. The water had a specific taste that wasn't present with previous filters. After two weeks, the taste of the water is still unsatisfactory. Today I will change the filter. Iโ€ฆ
