The liquid is not a lubricant Best Lithium

This is not a lubricant. This is liquid and should be in the compression tank. The buyer must be careful when opening so as not to spill. From now on I will buy 3M car care silicone paste again. Plumber's Grease is misleading in its use of the term "fat". It's a liquid. I would not recommend it because it is not what it is advertised.

Rubber Lubricant: Oils and Fluids

This is an excellent lubricant for all rubber parts. Just a light through-coating makes installation much easier. No need to apply lube with the included brush. Although the reservoir is quite large (8 ounces) for my field tool kit, I put the lube in an old 35mm field reservoir, again a little goes a long way.

Household items

This lube should be an integral part of your craft kit. When working with plumbing elements, silicone grease is required. I made the mistake of not lubricating the faucet check valve with silicone grease and as a result the faucet handle became tighter and harder to turn after each use. Use this lubricant in water applications that require lubrication to prevent lubricant degradation or hard-working components.

About the same consistency as rubber glue

For "lubrication" it's a bit thinner than you might expect. It's about the same consistency as rubber glue. I consider this an advantage as it can leak in places like valve stems and small gear cases. The packaging was good. It arrived in a padded envelope, the lid was tightly closed and the jar was shrink-wrapped. Revain failed to send Prime. Actual delivery only took a day and a half, but it took almost a week for Revain to see fit to ship it.

  • Definitely a bad product

almost liquid - lube and lubricant

Useful in places, but silicone oil rather than lubricant. Still, it's a good lube and sometimes you want to apply it, but when I think of "grease" I think of something with at least NLGI 1 and maybe NLGI 2 consistency, which is NLGI. 0, maximum. Anyway, if you know what you're getting, I don't think you'll be disappointed, but I think you should find another name for it, or at least make it clear how liquid it is. (Luckily I read the reviews so I knew what I was ordering.)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

NO Silicone Grease

Contrary to claims, this product is NOT Silicone Grease. It is an oil whose viscosity is closer to water than oil. It drips off the included brush so quickly that you can't apply it to the part without leaving a trail of oil in the work area where most ends up. By definition, fat does not flow. It sticks to surfaces that need to be lubricated such as O-rings, seals, spindles and balls. This material is quick and easy to wash off with water, especially in sanitary conditions. At least for…
