not best in computer accessories and peripherals

I like the upright position of my hands and the handling is very comfortable. This is where the positive aspects almost end. Less than a year later, I ran into tracking issues that rendered it unusable (jumping up to 4 inches on a 27-inch unusable type screen). Their tech support determined the problem was their own software and advised me to use a third party. Third-party software, which tech support itself admitted, didn't cause tracking issues. If their tech support recommends third-party…

Expensive but worth it

I've owned half a dozen Evoluent upright mice over the past decade. I've tried almost every other vertical and ergonomic mouse on the market, but the Evoluents are still the best in terms of accuracy, a comfortable fit in the hand, and preventing soreness and cold fingers throughout the day. They are very expensive but I keep coming back to them. Eventually, on some of my Evoluent, the pushbutton switches stopped working. This isn't unique to Evoluent - all mouse buttons wear out over time…

Fantastic ergonomics. Great mouse to use in one place

I've had this mouse for about 3 months and I like it so far. This mouse has taken the strain off my wrist and hand. People say it takes time to get used to, but I felt like it only took an hour or two before it became second nature. I've missed the smooth scroll wheel on Logitech mice (it has the classic knurled scroll wheel), but that's no big deal. One problem is that it doesn't seem all that durable for the price. It's really light (not bad), but feels like the buttons could be ripped off…

Great mouse. quality product.

Quality mouse. Installing it on a Windows PC at work was very easy. The instructions were a bit wrong, but that's not a problem. I have some shoulder issues that I thought could be solved by using a different mouse. I'm a database engineer/administrator in the IT department, which means I use a PC for 6-8 hours every working day. I used a great mouse for many years before recently trying a trackball. Pooh. After hating trackballs for months, I switched to this mouse. Neither the trackball nor…

You get what you pay for.

I have fairly deep lateral epicondylitis after a year of graphics and animation work and healing is slow. I bought this mouse because it was the cheapest. I have to say that if I keep an eye on the position of the hands etc. I can use this mouse all day without any side effects. I can't say the same about other mice I own, including two good roller mice. The feel is great, the fit is great. Responds very well. I love that I can program each of the many functions to do whatever I want (long…

Poor Quality: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

The Evolunet mouse is an expensive choice for a questionable price. The price speaks for the high quality. However, the quality of the product is inconsistent and low. The design also has three major drawbacks. Product: I have owned 4 Evoluent mice (of the same model) in the last 6 years. The first one was unstable and after 8 months of discussion with Evoluent they sent me a new one. It worked great for about 4.5 years until I accidentally broke it in 2018. I replaced it with another Evoluent…

Incompatible software and very strange default button settings

Quick review: I bought these to replace my vertical anchor mouse. If you want to play any games with it, don't worry. If for some reason you use multiple mice like I do, don't worry. Otherwise it's great. Anything that isn't already an Evoluent mouse will have an adjustment period, which is considered here. Pros: - I like the feel of holding the mouse, it supports my wrist/hand very well - Glides and tracks well on my dark mouse pad - Button layout is good and the ability to customize button…

Terrible accuracy on keyboards, mice and accessories

Edit: Downgraded to two stars, the accuracy of this thing is pathetic. It's convenient to use, but for the price, the accuracy is disappointing. This really should be a high-resolution mouse at this price point. And as others have pointed out, it also seems pretty cheap for its price. If I had never heard of them and happened to stumble upon one of them on someone's desk, I would expect it to be something in the $29.95 price range. I also think the speed controller built into the device is…
