I've literally tried them all! Washcloths pick up too much mold, silicone doesn't work at all, don't even know why they exist. There is a third type that is similar to this one but doesn't work in the same way. The fabric fits very well and flakes off gently. Now it is not available. I should have bought five when I had the opportunity.

Bought this to use on my back as I figured I could switch to either side if I wanted the rough side or the soft side. There were 2 separate "towels": one hard and one soft. They are not the same size, the rough is about an inch shorter and about 2 inches wider.

I love it. I'm getting older and I don't have the range I used to have. Now I can wash my back without any problems. This is the perfect laundry fabric if you wash it by hand instead of in the laundry. When I washed it in the washing machine it became fluffy and full of lint.

I'm used to the Korean scrubbers, which are pretty much like soft sandpaper. This towel is a little less than that but still great at creating lather and getting you clean.
