These are the best bowls for my sand boas. Every second bowl used was always full of substrate. This bowl is large enough to keep the substrate away from it and can stand on the bottom of the aquarium.

Bought as a solution to keep my snake from spilling water everyday. Seems to work. Can't tell if he really drinks more. I think if it were a little shorter and wider at the top it would be better, but the main user doesn't have much to say on the subject.
