I love this expandable file holder. I use it to put together a group of plastic notebooks that I use for class. It keeps them from sliding around all over the place and it's great that it can be adjusted to fit exactly what I need. I can flip the expandable side for an interesting look or turn it to the back of the shelf and it's barely visible. I plan to buy more of these for other bookshelves.

If the books are small chapters, you can take the entire cover off the shelf and leave the books in place. This made it very easy to access books after other books on a deep shelf.
