I was actually concerned that this shelf would look too much like something designed for a garage even though I installed it in the hallway closet, but it actually looks a lot better than I expected. However, it wasn't easy to install. My closet is exactly 29" and this shelf says it's 29-49". I think to easily install it you need a 30" closet, not 29. I bought 2 sets of shelves from this brand. They both work as advertised and I've found them to be more durable than the typical wire shelving you get at big department stores. Another neat thing is that it expands to fit in your closet. I've read that some people say they had to put glue on the grooves to hold the bars.
