I thought it was fake merino wool, but then I tested It, burning a bit of a scratch fabric and was able to discern that it is wool. I thought it was a bit more warmer, I live in Colorado and tried yesterday, it was 20*F so for that temp may need and under layer. But overall it is as expected!

Excellent craftsmanship of the model, stitches and fit. Wool is soft and warmer than my other wool zip tops. The sizing is inconsistent and may not fit every body type comfortably!

I have been camping, deep sea fishing, hiking, and worn it out and about. Hands down greatest base layer for outdoor adventures, and looks great in day to day wear. The fit is very flattering and comfortable and I am a year in and it still fits the same and looks the same. Easy to wash and doesn’t hang on to smells, even camp smoke doesn’t have an impact for long. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

I highly recommend this hoodie it's high quality non itchy although wool never bothered me at all, its so soft and warm I'm 5'3" 128 Lbs could have gotten a small if I was going to use for a base layer but I got a medium to use over clothes fits nice and long enough to cover my bum.

Great companion hoody with my Columbia Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket. This is comfortable to wear and regulates my body temp just fine now that it's getting cold here in NJ. Performs exactly the same as Smartwool. I also received a Merino Wool cap and gloves from Naturwool FREE with this purchase. How cool is that! Will definitely buy more from this brand.

I loved the weight of this jacket. Bought it to replace an old lighter weight Icebreaker Hoodie in the same size, that I have worn for years, but has definitely seen its day. Unfortunately this hoodie seems to run small, has tight sleeves, making it difficult to put on over a base layer, and is much more snug around the torso. I have purchased merino clothing from most of the quality merino retailer (Smart Wool, Icebreaker, Ibex, WoolX) and fit very comfortably in their XL (and some L) sized…

Bought this hoodie wool shirt for my bicycle ride in fall and winter. Is is super light weight but strong wind breaker.Wear the hoodie itself can be around 45F, with a vest, you can go for a ride around 32F, with a down coat, the whole winter would be easy.The best part is the hoodie, I can zip it all the way up to cover my mouth and nose, the hoodie part is perfectly shaped.Only concern is the zipper, I except they use YKK for this beautiful will shirt.
