I wouldn’t think that these would perform well in an actual hiking scenario, we bought these for our son to wear to church with khakis, I think that would be a more appropriate application. Not necessarily poorly built but definitely not like Merrill’s etc.

We are very pleased with this style of shoe- I avoided other style types Based on several low rated reviews but this style seems great! My son loves them and we plan to use them for hiking and walking Round in the snow.

My daughter has narrow feet and these boots are bit on wide side.So we are returning our shoes.BTW: did not come in a box but wrapped in a bag.

I bought these a size bigger than what my kid typically wears and I’m able to have her wear her leg braces with these shoes!It takes a bit to have them broken into in order for the braces to slide in "easily” but way cheaper than what’s out there specifically for braces. They are also slip resistant (from what I’ve witnessed) and keep her feet dry.

My daughter wears these on all our hikes and never complains. She walks through puddles and streams and stays pretty dry.

I bought these to wear for a trip to England. We had plans to do a lot of walking and hiking in very wet conditions. Fortunately my feet are small enough to fit in larger kid’s shoes. This boot is great for active kids that is lightweight and durable. It was my child’s daily boot for 5 months and buying again for another 5-6 months of any kind of weather.

My kids & I went on a short walk through dewy grass, wearing their new boots. The solid blue boots held up in terms of being water resistant, but the black & green boots led to soaked through socks. Water resistance was a key factor in choosing these boots to purchase; the false advertising is not appreciated.

I had to return this shoe. I ordered 7.5 US. What showed up was marked 7.5 but was actually a size 7. (I held it up to other shoe like it and it was definitely a size 7.) So, returned and ordered a size 8.5 US in hopes of ending up with a she that is actually an 8 or perhaps 7.5. The shoe is of ok quality and looked cute but was too small.

Came in a sort-of air tight sealed plastic bag. It was a little out of shape at the time of opening the package but it is in good shape after several uses. Cozy and comfortable for regular use during winter.

These shoes are okay. I gave it 3 because of the late delivery and the size runs very small. My toddler wears 6/6.5 and I ordered 7/7.5 but it’s not going to last her more than one wear or two which is very disappointing because I like the shoe

My daughter fractured the side of her foot in gym class and her orthopedic told me we needed to get her a hard sole shoe for her to wear instead of that big bulky boot they gave her at the urgent care. This one worked perfect and even though she wasn’t very excited about having to wear it she ended up loving how it looked with all of her outfits. Gave them an edgy look ❤️

These kicks are a little large so go one size smaller. They have great traction, are water resistant and have the perfect amount of flex.

Purchased for 7 year old grandson to wear up at our mountain home, he loves them so much that he refuses to take them off, great boots.

Just bought these for the second time for my son. We live in a wet rainy climate and these held up so well through fall and the entire winter season. They look nice and are super functional. No slip grip is great on playgrounds, and the boot is pretty water resistant. Even through they are imitation leather, they have held up well. No fraying seams or areas falling apart. Great all season kid shoe. He wears them to outdoor preschool and they are ideal.

Purchased twice because they’ve been so good. Water resistant, sturdy, easy on and off (by the kids!) and they’ve held up incredibly well. The second pair has been through two kids and they still look great. They’re the perfect PNW kids shoe.
