However, this works fine:

It's not exactly plug and play. To find it you have to go to my computer and find it and when you click on it it will appear along with your other drives until you turn off the computer and then have to start over. It's a bit of a pain, I had 3.5 disc magazines with photos on them and it worked fine, extracting them was priceless, well worth the cost and hassle in the long run.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I do NOT recommend.

I don't understand all the people writing good reviews about this device or even saying it works?! it definitely does NOT work on MAC or Windows 10. Doesn't work at all. I plugged it into every USB port I have on ALL my computers. didn't open any files at all. I tried going to the control panel and selecting the device, NO. complete failure. Either I've come across a completely broken lemon of a device, or they lie about the product, or it's just no good. I would vote for NOTHING. Buy something

My Dell laptop recognized it. Easily transfer photos.

I used this to transfer my old floppy drives to my laptop. It worked well. My Dell laptop recognized it immediately. After using it several times, he did not recognize it. All I had to do was unplug it from the computer and plug it back in, and then it worked. I copied in various ways. I chose what I wanted on a floppy disk and dragged it into the correct folder. I also highlighted what I wanted on the disk and clicked copy and then navigated to the correct folder and clicked paste and that…

3.5 floppy disks are no longer used. I had a need because of the camera I used once. Because the camera is broken, I can't download the photos to my computer. My new DELL computer or SAMSUNG laptop is not compatible. The green light came on, but as soon as a disc was inserted, the disc player turned off. I still need a disc player if there was a match. The new 3.5 disc player was new in 2000 but is now obsolete. I advise you not to keep it on the resale shelf. Camera shops can be more…

Mainly suitable for computers and accessories

I bought this specifically to read old floppy disks I had lying around. The first few times I used it it didn't seem to work. I heard the USB connection sound in Windows, but the drive never showed up in File Explorer. I read an online review that mentioned a similar issue and recommended inserting a floppy disk before plugging the drive into a USB port. Once I did that I was able to see the floppy drive in File Explorer. The only problem was that the drive sometimes seemed to disappear. Also…
