Fantastic Addition to My Home Theater

This satellite receiver is simply amazing! I was looking for an external receiver to upgrade my home theater and was not disappointed. The receiver is compatible with a variety of electronics and was easy to install. The picture and sound quality are top-notch and the receiver is extremely reliable. On the downside the remote control could be more user-friendly .Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality external receiver…

Not Worth the Investment

I purchased this electronics accessory hoping it would improve my satellite reception, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations .As my tests showed, the connection was weaker with the external receiver than without it. The only positive aspect was the easy installation, but that alone doesnt justify the cost. Save your money and look for other options..

Works with Google Fiber GFHD200 STB

The IR port on the rear of the GFHD200 requires a stereo 3.5mm IR extension cable to which it actively redirects VCC on the tip and data receives ring and uses hub as ground. This particular IR extender works great with it. If you have one of these STBs, be aware that when you connect the extender, the IR receiver built into the front of the device will be disabled, making the extender your only IR input source.
