Opens very fast, closes easily. Don't know about wind sturdiness though.I bought the 5' but now I wish I had bought the 6'. It's a nice umbrella.

I live and work in Seattle and also use this large 1-2-person golf-size umbrella hiking on trails and in the woods. Works great, looks terrific open and closed and will probably still be in perfect shape when I lose it or give it to someone else ;-). I got black because I wanted something appropriate for both formal occasions and general utility. The other colors look great, and I plan to get different colors for my family. Highly recommended.

When I received the umbrella there was a chunk of the black handle missing. Im not sure if this a product defect or happened during shipping.

Through life, I had always managed to have an umbrella that was not my own. Somehow I just always had a couple, from somewhere. As life went on it became more difficult to obtain umbrellas that are not my own. I was finally forced into purchasing my own umbrella. To my surprise this umbrella is quite sturdy and big. It is definitely worth the purchase price.

Product was well packaged in a large box. Upon removing it from the box, plastic bag, and carrying strap, the umbrella itself was coming apart at a seam (pictured). Inside carrying bag was also dirty, even though it was inside a plastic protector.Expected more based on the reviews, but will be sending it back.

This umbrella has plenty of room for two people. Love that it has a rubber tip and a carrying case to throw over your shoulder when not in use.
