This wheel was handled very lightly, not good! It broke immediately. Threads were flying everywhere, what a mess. Don't buy this. You will eventually return it!

Pretty nice polishing tool. There are different ways to use it. I don't have any used ones. Machine screw with two washers and nuts and use with my drill press

Good polishing wheel. I had to make the hole 1/2" a little bigger because I couldn't get it on the grinder. It's okay, ran 1/2". I like it!

Having used this wheel many times to polish knife blanks I was very surprised to see that it held up so well despite the tough polishing. Use with black polishing paste. wow !

I don't know why but it doesn't mix no matter what I do. It comes without a rake, so you have to figure it out yourself, no problem for me personally. If you don't have a rake, drive a few rows of nails into the wood and use them. I usually cut off the long strands with a razor and then use the finest grade sandpaper to sand the rest. I'm sure I have it where it needs to be, it just doesn't load well like cotton or sisal.

I love this sisal wheel. It works great with Formax Compound. It even removes black rust, which some call "demonic saliva" because it's very difficult to remove. You can spend hours hand sanding to try and remove black rust from an old blade, or you can use a sisal wheel and 100-grit Formax compound and it only takes a few minutes for the rust to go away . I prefer the latter. I don't like to hand grind metal for hours, it's tough on my aging hands and I've cut myself too many times. This is a…
