I wanted a pad that I could use while cleaning, however this one hurts my knees. I tried sitting on it and using it under my hands during exercises, but it was uncomfortable in both situations. I have used separate knee pads while working on concrete floors at my job, so I have a good idea of what creates comfort. This would have been much better if it was an interior with a softer outer layer. If you have sensitive joints, you might want another product.

This pad is well made, large and lightweight, but unfortunately is too hard to be comfortable on the knees. As someone else pointed out, it's better than nothing, but for the thickness I was expecting much more comfort and cushioning for my knees. I will probably use it only for extra heavy-duty projects, but not really that great for everyday purposes such as gardening.

If you're older and really need something substantial to pad your knees, this is WAY better than the flimsy $6 garden knee pads they sell at the box stores. THICKER and useful for every task around the house that requires being on your knees. It was exactly what I was looking for, and well worth the price tag.

I use this as support for my knees when doing yoga and it works great! Now I don't have to endure the pain of my knees on the hardwood floor while practicing yoga at home. Wish I thought of the idea to get one sooner. I suppose this is the type of product that could be used for multiple things but it keeps my knees padded and thats all that counts.

Like many people of my advanced age I have had knee problems in the past (torn menisci, both knees) and when kneeling in the garden or while doing handyman projects around the house I always had to search for something soft to kneel on when necessary. I put this to the test yesterday while kneeling on 2-3" decorative rocks to trim growth near the bottom of a bush and pull spearmint out of where it did not belong. It was very comfortable and I could not feel the pointed edges of any rock through the pad. It did however suffer a few punctures on the bottom side - which is totally expected.

I'm in the horticulture-sprinkler-landscape industry. I've tried the thin 1" knee pads. They don't last and any rock or twig will poke through.I've used these thicker and larger kneeling pad for 3 months and LOVE them. Ordering more to use inside on hard floors.

It seems fine for kneeling and I appreciated that the handle piece was left in for the user to keep or remove as preferred.

I have had this for a little over a year and it is still like new. I am 6'3", 220 pounds and this pad provides excellent comfort and protection when working in the garden and yard.

This product works excellent in the garden, for kneeling or sitting, it give you the extra cushion you need. It's very light weight and easy to carry with you. I don't know why I ever procrastinated on getting one. I would recommend this to anyone who still hand washes floors to outdoor weeding.
