The photo shows that it is used with a motorized attachment which is why I bought it. Does not work with powered attachments. As far as I can tell there isn't an adapter on the market that would allow me to use a motorized V6 mount on a V7.

I bought this attachment to use some of my Dyson V6 vacuum attachments with my new Dyson V11 vacuum. Specifically the brush head which I used on hard floors as the V11 didn't offer it as an attachment. I received the adapter and it works great! One side snaps right into my V11 and my old V6 attachment snaps into the other side. That's exactly what I wanted.

The tab that fits standard (non-Dyson) tools is a bit short.
