I don't know why I waited so long to replace the head on my old Mighty Mite which came loose at the pivot and kept falling off . This one fits perfectly, stays strong, has a stronger brush on hardwood floors and picks up cat hair better on carpet.

The carpet/wood knob on the original Bissel Zing brush stopped working properly (springing back) so I bought this as a replacement. It fits well and looks solid. It seems that the suction power on the carpet is even greater than that of the Zing brush. On hardwood, it glides a little harder than the original (it doesn't have little wheels to move it, but it does scratch the floor at times), but still good. Test the brush on your floor type before use. It may be too hard for some wood surfaces.

This attachment fits perfectly (with included adapter) to my Shark Ion F80 cordless vacuum cleaner. That's wonderful! My house has mostly hard floors and I don't like the motorized attachment that came with my vacuum because it's quite bulky and the wheels bother me on hard floors. I'm buying this for my new shop vacuum. . I finally broke down and bought a $$$ Miele and was disappointed not to mention that it was bulky and not suitable for stairs. Then it dawned on me.
