An HDMI recorder can be used for more than just gaming.

Works well with HDMI computers as a screen recorder. It can record 18 hours of video on a 32GB SD card. It is also good for dubbing old cassette tapes to digital format without a computer using an RCA to HDMI upconverter with this unit. The video is lag-free and the sound is good too

Works pretty well with 2 small things

This works fine, now I can record a tutorial video when I need to show the BIOS settings or the computer boot process. Two minor issues are that it doesn't like HDMI to DP. My Dell monitors only have DP, no HDMI. I tried the HDMI to DP cable and adapter but my monitor didn't show up, I had to switch the monitor to an HDMI monitor. Another thing is that it can't pause, you need to stop the recording and then edit the video. Otherwise this is a good product.
