NOT VERY GOOD - tire repair tools

After adjusting these air vents a few times I have concluded that they do not work well. Or, that is, two of them work fine and two don't work at all. I followed the instructions to install them and they won't exert constant pressure. NONE of them completely shut down when the pressure is reached and two of them are useless. I will return them.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some minor things

Air out what for?: Tire and rim tools

Everyone is talking about you with these little guys. When everyone is using their nail, knife or other object to deflate their hoops like a Tom Brady soccer ball, you can be cool as a cucumber by sitting and watching with an ice cold drink in your as all 4 hoops do at the same time break hand. . It takes about 30 minutes to set up, but after that it's the easiest part of your off-road ride.

  • Hands-free work

It takes time to set them up.

I like this type of deflator. . I had expensive fakes and now these cheap ones. They work fine once you put them in. It takes trial and error, but once set up, they keep up the same pressure every time. They are permanent. If you are a person who uses a large range of pressure depending on the surface, speed, etc., this type of deflator is not for you. If you want to lose 12 pounds every time you go off the road, these are great for you, with a few exceptions.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Reliable

Inaccurate and finicky

This product will deflate your tire fairly quickly, I give it one star for that, but it's not a device that connects to all 4 tires. I spent about an hour setting all the gauges with the spare tire and couldn't get a consistent pressure. It was so inaccurate and inconsistent that when used it blows apart to make sure the extra pressure has been released and you have to manually make sure the spring is working for it to stop releasing air at all. Running one wheel at a time from wheel to wheel I

Fast and easy! best tool for tires and wheels

Very easy to assemble. If you want to be super anal it may take a while and you can probably get them closer together, but I got everything down to +/- 3psi pretty quickly. Once you've done that, they're very easy to use. One of them makes a farting sound when they start defecating which is pretty funny but I wish it wasn't. I lubricated all o-rings with silicone grease to ensure a better seal and extend their life. I used blue Loctite on the snap rings so I don't have to worry about them self…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

These deflators work great! Simple, reliable, simple

These deflators work great. I've been using them for 3 months now. It's a little tedious to set up, but once you have it, you're done. I manually reset the tire pressure to the desired pressure first. Then I screwed the deflator onto the valve. I then dialed in the regulator until it was where I wanted it (11 psi). Then repeat this step with the remaining three on the same hoop. Then I tested them on three other solid tires and they work and have worked great with no adjustments ever since. It…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Inconsistent, but still inexpensive and time-saving.

Fine adjustment requires a lot of effort. If you want your tires to be within +/- 0.5psi, you should use a pressure gauge. However, the price is right and it really saves time. In order to perform at your best, you have to be consistent. Start in a corner and work to install the deflators, wait a specified amount of time, and then remove them in the same order you installed them. This will give you the most consistent results. Finish off with a pressure gauge so all tires are the same…

Not the best tools and equipment

They are not very accurate and difficult to shut off when they reach their set pressure. They deflate very quickly at first, but then they deflate very slowly as they near set point, and then they just continuously dump water and never seem to stop. I spent a lot of time setting them up. I finally got them installed so I could put them on the tire with the right pressure and it wouldn't leak air. So I figured they were ready to go. When I tested them on full tires, I waited over 10 minutes for…

Pros
  • Pressure range 6 to 30 psi inches
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Just as good as the expensive ones once you know how to install them!

I've been a quad bike, off-road racer and climbing pro for over 20 years and now have my own shop. These deflators are as accurate as anything I've used. The only criticism I can give them is that they take a little longer to deflate than the more expensive ones I've used, the assembly instructions could have been better written and there are no fine tuning instructions. Here's how I install deflators for myself and my clients, regardless of brand: First, setting up a deflator takes time and…
