Faraday Platform - Best Vulnerability Assessment Tool

The best thing about faraday is that it has an easy to use interface, which makes finding vulnerabilities simple for any user. It also provides many different tools in one place so you can find all of your data at once without having to go from tool to tool. I wish there was more information about each individual vulnerability or risk factor included with them. If someone who knows nothing about security wants to start using Faraday they will be able to learn quickly and get started right…

Pros
  • Easy way around searching through multiple sources/documents within seconds; very detailed reports available when needed after completing scan(s); reporting system allows us easily access certain parts during analysis process while being logged out simultaneously if need arises (like working late hours) not locked down because logging in as guest account works well enough just fine too..no credentials required whatsoever!!! :)

User Friendly and Competent tool just what every IT professional must own

The best part of faray is that it integrates with other tools like AWS, GCP etc to make our life easy in terms security analysis by creating threat models for us along-with recommendations about how we can fix them ourselves or get assistance from third parties (like cloudflare). It's also very user friendly which I think gives me confidence when working remotely as well! Not much but if you are looking at something more robust then try out their competition such as Cloud Security Partners who

  • The support is excellent always quick to resolve any queries & provide assistance!
Cons
  • I don't particularly know of anything I dislike about faray at this point in time!

Solid choice available today and used longterm

It can be integrated with other cloud services for automation, data analytics etc., but it is not free to use as compared some competitors like AWS Athena or DataGrip which are much cheaper if you're in need of integration only! We have been using faraday platform since 2013-ish (I think), so I cannot say how things were before that time - just saying this out there :) Our main problem was lack/lackness of proper tools at our disposal when we started working together many years ago back then ;)

Pros
  • Flexible schema; support multiple sources including HiveQL.
  • Easy way creating custom functions without coding skills necessary,
  • Support big datasets via Spark engine / S3 storage option available too
Cons
  • Lackiness regarding full featured enterprise solutions offered elsewhere
