"Bright " and brass

I plugged them in and left my standard horns in place. The sound is not what I was looking for. I can't say they are any louder than my stock Ford Fusion horns. They have a "bright" and brassy tone and lots of volume. They sound almost like a clown horn. Also the length of the ground wire is just a joke! 6 inches right? The thickness and quality of the wires/connectors is somewhat to be expected at this price point.

The lack of clear installation instructions for this product prompted me to return it for a refund.

The horns were installed as best as possible with confusing instructions but did not work. A Google search turned up no clear instructions, and the Revain video only showed a pair of hands connecting the horns to a power source and using a switch to make them hum. I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to connect these horns, then gave up and found some horns with clear instructions from O'Reilly.

Works well. DO NOT buy original car brands. Buy

This item works well and is easy to install. Grab your shrink solder connectors and you're good to go. They are waterproof and take less than a minute to make a wire connection (shrink connectors are soldered, horns cannot be submerged in water). No wiring harnesses need to be purchased. All you need is a wire stripper and a lighter. The horn is loud, definitely louder than the dying originals. As I said in the title, DO NOT buy horns from auto manufacturers. They are just a divorce. Get it and
