Quality carbide pins and a cute little tip cap to boot! Great purchase for more than one item. I used them to mark aluminum sheet metal and was able to "break" the metal on the scriber and then move it back and forth to separate it without using scissors, punch shears, routers, etc. to do the sheet metal work on the too do old caravan. Restoration. Also good for laying out Formica and some hardwoods (if you're not in a hurry).

I am really impressed with their quality at this price point. They're dense, which gives them a great hand feel, and they feel pretty durable. I've used one of these for a long time and it's held up a good point, I've used it on plastic, aluminum, copper, brass, mild steel, stainless steel and high carbon steel (1084 and 1095). I would definitely buy more of these but I think they will last quite a while so it might be a while! Clip for pen - scrap.

Works great. I mainly use them on HR mild steel so the tip definitely takes a hit. I wish they had a more secure tip cap, like a flip cap like a Sharpie. The little red rubber tip they come with is tricky to trace with a pen, but if you don't have a tip it'll just punch holes in whatever you keep it. Make a small metal case for them so I don't have to worry about them scratching my tools and punching holes in them. . I expect they will last a very long time and will definitely buy them again
