💨 4.5ft SMT Removal Alloy Strip Review

I've been using Quik Chip Remover for many years but ended up using SMT Chip Remover Alloy and it doesn't work that well. I need to use more product for the same task.

I bought this to try and fix my friend's PS4 HDMI port. No matter what soldering hardware I used, I couldn't melt solder on the PS4 HDMI connector until I got this. It's awesome! Soldering this material to the HDMI port connectors allowed me to remove the port.

Technical for over 30 years, this solder is very good at component removal, stays molten for a reasonable time and works best when using flux, not only good for SMD but also suitable for removing larger components with large ground shields, such as B. Joysticks on game controllers. it's as good as a chipkick and you get a lot, so that should last you for a while

I really like this low melting point solder. I'm not a professional solderer so this really helped. I was able to remove the 8-pin power plug very easily without destroying anything. I only needed a small amount of this solder to remove it. It will last me a long time with current use. But once I'm done, I won't think twice about buying it again.

I couldn't remove the sticking metal material from some SMT devices and had trouble completely removing it from the pads with a wire wick and 91% isopropyl alcohol. I have been using this low melting point solder for many years. Use some flux and add a small drop of this solder. I usually use a regular soldering iron and heat it up so this fusible material mixes well. Then the component simply falls off. It takes a little practice and a different technique depending on the part to be removed.
