Description of ๐ŸŽฏ Ultimate Fat Cat Dartboard Accessory: Soft Tip Dart Point Remover Tool for Electronic Dartboards

When a tip breaks inside a board it can be nearly impossible to remove, rendering that section useless. However the Fat Cat Broken Shaft Remover allows you to save your dartboard and allow it to live another day. Unique design removes the broken pieces throughout the board. Avoid creating dead zones on your board, and prevent bounce outs. Sleek black color matches dart cases and wallets. Easy to use.

Be careful when removing broken dart tips from dartboard

Easy to handle and use to remove broken dart tips from dartboard. It is durable and should not be missing in any dart thrower accessory bag. Great product to have. I have two (2).

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fair

I bought one for my family and wish I had mine now!

Quickly and easily removes Tufflex tips from the Viper 797. The tip is a metal collar with a spring behind it surrounding a metal stamp in the center. Pull back the collar, place the tip of the punch on the back of the broken tip and lightly touch.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I'm writing back

Worked great in sports

It was annoying to pay and then use 10 seconds but it took me that long to get the stuck dart tip out of my board. You literally just push the tip of the arrow out the back of the board and you're done. I have a Viper Specter dartboard, just so you know. It does exactly what it's supposed to, an annoyingly basic product.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The list is long.

Doesn't work for me.

Well I figured if you put that in a broken dart head it would have a pin that would pull it out. But I've read about it and it doesn't, instead it has to push through the broken tip. Well, that's not true either, and pressing too hard will damage the board itself. I'm sorry to say it didn't work for me.

  • Pretty packaging

Might work for you, doesn't work for me

I bought this for one reason: my board had a broken dart tip and there didn't seem to be any other way to knock it out. So I paid about $13 USD for it. It looks quite expensive, but the reviews said it will do the job. Doesn't work for me. The tip of the arrow is still there and I'm afraid to push too hard for fear of damaging the board.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Works well on reachable tips

The best way to remove the tips from the back of the board is to slide them forward. The holes are tapered and slightly larger at the front. This works great for tips that the tool can reach, but due to the small metal edge, tips near the edge of the target sector or in corners cannot be reached. Make the edge of the tip an extra inch longer and it will work much better.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • old

Only removes tips that are deeply embedded in the board

Removes some tips but if the tip is sticking out of the board it won't work. Some can be removed with pliers, but those that are not deep enough for the pliers and not deep enough for this tool cannot be removed with either of these methods. I would buy a small, straight-shank pick. Cheap and does the same thing. This tool can also damage your board if you use too much force. I would not recommend this tool for general purpose tip removal. Removes deep.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing

Does its job well

I have a cp900 Arachnid and a couple of the tips broke off flush with the board. So I need something to beat them according to the target's instructions. I've read reviews of those saying it didn't work for them, but give it a try. I made sure the tool goes through an open hole, which tells me it should work. From there, the reality is that dart tips can get stuck in the board pretty well. I was hoping that I would just push through, but that didn't happen. And like others, I was a littleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything
