Too bad it doesn't smear. Too expensive to make from plastic parts, just a metal cover. Unfortunately, this is the only larger rainfall shower head that comes in Delta's champagne bronze gold.

This is a very good head from Delta and we wanted a great rain shower head. My only comment: $450+ is very expensive for a basic device. I also don't understand why a worn bronze finish costs over $100 more than a chrome finish.

Installing from the ceiling is best when your home has low water pressure. A side shower arm doesn't look as good as if it were ceiling mounted, it has more drop so it rests a bit more on your body. It's great if you have a bench to sit on, although even in low-pressure water houses in Arizona, it covers most of your body.
