Does what it should.

Working. Provides two additional USB 3.0 ports. Be careful when you pull it out because I ripped out one of the headers. I was able to put it back in, but was a little annoyed at how easy it was to rip it out.

Works well but is missing Mfg QC

All solder connections on the cable connector never touch the circuit board. The pins only had a small ball of solder on the ends. Proper soldering revived the board.

Works as it should - USB port cards

I've read many reviews of various internal USB PCI expansion cards. And that's why I choose this one. My machine is a dual boot Windows 8 and 10 machine. Easy to install: open the can, remove the PCI slot cover on the back of the can and insert the card. I had no trouble connecting the two cables, they seemed reliable. It works great, but it's cheap and poor quality

Ugliness: If you don't have the patience - and little experience with weird and unusual gadgets - don't buy this. typical waste of material "made in China". The bad: The pins are extremely brittle - the plastic casing over each 20-pin connector easily comes loose if you try to pull the cable out - I had to use a leather man/pliers to pry the cable out of the connector. Works as advertised

I have not run any official speed tests. Full plug-and-play functionality on pre-USB3.0 motherboards. When installed in a PCIe slot, one port supplies 3.0 power to one drive bay and the other port supplies power to the other drive bay. No sign of easily breakable plastic, but I haven't changed my mind. Works exactly as intended.
