This screen was easily replaced with my daughter's broken iPad screen. It wasn't the first time I've changed the screen of an iPad, so I knew what to do and everything went smoothly. I used a hair dryer to heat the adhesive on the old screen and it immediately came off.

Make sure you reheat that old glass and this glass is all good. The iPad uses only spaced adhesive, no screws or other fasteners. don't try to look at it. Only use heat on glass. Don't be afraid of damaging the iPad with too little heat.

had the problem that the bottom half was fully glued to the case, had to use CA glue to hold the screen down. It also seems that the screen isn't as responsive as it used to be. It's an iPad for kids, but it doesn't seem difficult to do. Generally acceptable for the price.

I agree with the seller that the glass is compatible with the iPad 5th generation. No, that is not so. The 5th generation iPad has Touch ID linked to the home button, but this one doesn't. The rest of the digitizer works fine, but I'm so tired of the right hand giving and the left hand taking away. I am generous with three stars.

there was not enough glue in the kit. My husband replaced many screens and this one didn't have enough grip size, it ended up going up and losing touch contact. After three months, it increased so much that half of the screen didn't work and the corner broke. But one with good adhesion! Superglue might work but if you have to replace the screen again it will be a mess to pull it off.

The screen works well. The small bracket that holds the home button didn't have a small protrusion on the inside like the original part, so the button didn't appear to be pressed. Don't worry, I replaced the original and it works perfectly. The screen tape doesn't seem that sticky, so when I had to open my iPad again (my fault) it opened very easily. But in general the screen is working well so far.

Not sure if it's because I've repaired the same iPad multiple times over the past 2 months but this one was perfect to install. The tape around the edges was already installed and the home button was installed. Now the original home button also broke when I first fixed it, so they didn't care about the fingerprint sensor. I did it! I had to buy two screens, but I was able to replace my iPad's broken screen for less than $50.
