Since it's clearly not carbon, it's aluminum or steel, why the false advertising? Shame on the seller. It's pretty solid, although it wobbles a little when it's extended, even when locked.

Not made of carbon. don't recommend it at all. I have stock on my 3rd use and can't take the top off. couldn't turn to unlock until it broke and the head popped out. it is literally glued to the pipe. with cheap stuff.

This item is NOT CARBON FIBER. I expected the item to be much lighter. It is made of aluminum. While the item meets my immediate needs, I will think twice before relying on this seller's description in the future.

I use mine all the time and haven't had any problems with it. Each section has its own locking function, but you can lock and unlock all 3 by holding onto the same spot. there is no need to move your hand to the new locking mechanism to operate it.

Just got back from vacation and it broke 3 days a month out of country. Very cheap version. Broke trying to unlock, now won't fold or expand. I will never buy this style again and definitely not from this company. Luckily I had a backup otherwise it would have pretty much ruined the holiday.

I was looking for a selfie stick for my Sony X-3000 that would be above average for underwater photography and something simple for video recording. I have a small tripod with a light and monitor setup, but sometimes the simpler it is, the better. Previous selfie sticks were of poor quality and unreliable. I am impressed with the quality and durability of this product. I added a small gimbal at the top to mount the camera.
