I like this car. My first shredder probably lasted 15 years, when it died I bought Revains Basics, don't waste time, after the second died (just a month later) I bought these Fellowes. It's quiet that Revane spoke like an amazon, it's too quiet. I just broke this overpriced paper shredder trying to shred a credit card in it. The card is stuck in the gears and cannot be removed. Yes, I have had a paper shredder since March 1918, during which time I destroyed three bins of paper and greased the gears as I emptied the bins. This is the first time I've tried to destroy a credit card in a car (in July 2019) by inserting it where the credit card image is showing and the machine broke. I bought the FELLOWES 62MC to replace the FELLOWES SHREDDER which has been my workhorse in my home office for many years. Two reasons: * The 62MC's PAPER SLOT is much narrower than my old machine's paper slot, and the area around the PAPER SLOT is not inclined towards the SLOTS. This means that the PAPER fed to this SHREDDER must be carefully placed in the SLOT. That was not the case with my old FELLOWES, nor with the BONSAII C118-C, which replaced the 62C.
