Perfect little adapters

While USB-C is becoming more common, most computers today still don't have many ports available. Considering the number of peripherals that need to be connected via USB, this little gem is a must-have for any gadget lover. External hard drive adapters, NVMe adapters or any device with a USB-C connector benefit from this and I find them VERY reliable. Grab a pack of these asap. You will not regret it.

Works well with the Oculus Quest headset.

Exactly as expected. Kids wanted to be able to connect their Oculus Quest to their computer for more VR experiences/interactions. These little guys did their job. Receive three packs so everyone can keep one plugged into the USB socket and reduce wear and tear on the device. Good value for money and we have a spare in case one fails or burns out. We didn't try to calculate anything and I don't think we will, as other reviewers have suggested that it really isn't up to the task.

Doesn't allow connection to monitor through docking station

I bought this to connect my laptop to a docking station with a USB Type-C port. I was able to use a keyboard and mouse attached to the docking station , so I know the adapter works, but my computer didn't recognize the monitor on the dock. Some "experts", including Geek Squad, advised me to try a Type-C to HDMI adapter (not USB 3.0 or 3.1), but the datasheets of several Type-C to HCMI adapters I can find could state explicitly that it does not support video/monitor. Works (partially) with HP Legacy Laptop/HP 5G Dock

I have an old (4-5 year old) HP laptop that doesn't have a USB-C drive port. I also have a newer HP Dock (5G) with C drive connection. I was hoping to use this adapter in place of a C-Disk to route video, power and other connections to a G5 dock rather than buying an HP G2 dock which is said to support older HP laptops via an adapter supports.
