Festool Folding Ruler Review

Was glad to get this. This is the same popular line that you can find in German hardware stores, made by Stabila, they have many different models for the same line. It's still the same quality as Festool, I would highly recommend getting it for such a great price.

What a difference between this "Festool/Stabila" ruler and the previous black and white combo marking ruler I brought back ! The previous rule had white markings that were poorly embossed and rubbed off easily. Renamed "Stabila", this metric ruler has crisp, clear black markings on a white background that are easy to read. It says "Festool" on the side, but the Stabila quality is there (and marked on the front). If you like the rule of metric, you won't be disappointed.

I just wanted to buy something from Festool and I could afford it. I even wrote them a letter asking for an assistant for him (I'll let you know when I get one). Serious. This is a well made, easy to read and durable folding rule. It does NOT have a slide rule like you would find on a carpenter's folding rule for taking internal measurements. But if that's not the feature you're looking for, it's a good price and very accurate. And with the huge Festool on the side, it really stands out. I…
