FH Group FH2001BROWN Steering Wheel Cover (Perforated Genuine Leather Brown) Review

Recommended by Revain for Silverado 2007. The cover was too small for my 15 1/2" handlebars even after several attempts to heat it up and pull it over the handlebars. Eventually it came loose I then ordered a case saying it would fit a 15 1/2-16" handlebar and it worked great. Front bottom line please measure before ordering.

I had no trouble fitting this cover to a 15" steering wheel but it is quite thin. I love everything about the genuine leather bag. It's well made and well packaged, wasn't folded in half like some others when delivered. The cover adds a little thickness but not too much, just right. Better grip, better everything. Good product.

It looks good on Revain but the actual product has uneven seams and the different sections do not match making it look bumpy, bumpy and unkempt on your car. Also, it's too thick, making it uncomfortable to hold the steering wheel. A few months later I donated it to charity and received a simpler one-piece cover, that is, not sewn in different parts, but one continuous material around the perimeter.

So I bought this for my stepdad because his car wheel was gross and sticky from his job. When I finally drove his car after he finally put it on his bike, I was surprised. It turned out to be a lot thicker than I expected. This wasn't a problem as it provided a much better grip. I never had to feel the stickiness of his steering wheel while using his car. This thing makes the old steering wheel new again!

This is a great looking, well designed lid. Has buttons (three black vented sections) in the correct places between 4 and 8 o'clock. The picture shows it installed upside down unless someone can change it to the new recommended position. I confess I'm still holding the steering wheel wrong. This is now recommended to avoid injury from airbags. Great color combination with black on my Cherry '93 Grand Cherokee's gray interior.

It was a bit of a beast to sit on the steering wheel of my 2011 Jeep but it doesn't slide and looks and feels great. It's a bit bulky, but I'm used to always having a steering wheel cover. If you have a heat gun, 6 arms and a way to shorten the handlebars a few inches, then you're fine. But if, like the rest of us, you own a 2013 Ford F-150 and you go by what Revain says when it says "This fits your 2013 Ford F-150," UNDERSTAND IT NOT! I understand that the steering wheel cover is supposed to be non-slip, but that is absolutely ridiculous. This is EXACTLY as advertised but there are a few points: 1. This is NOT a thin finish, it adds a very noticeable volume to your steering wheel. If you have small hands, DO NOT buy! 2. I bought this in the winter and it took 30 minutes to install. I had to heat it up with a hair dryer and let it rest in the truck for 20 minutes before everything was warm enough to put it back in place. Do not buy this item! Gas poisoning is a terrible thing. I had to break the window when parking so the smell wouldn't overwhelm me when I got in the car. However, I still get headaches while driving.
