This product required the removal of the seat and backrest from my Prius. The video instructions show how to remove the rear seat bench with a strong upward pull. I could not move. These are good seat covers. I use them in a 1999 GMT-400 Escalade. The factory seats are in rough condition after 235,000 miles. These seat covers fit very well and are snug.
