oh god i knew those were cheap shoes but because of them my dr. Scholls appear to be something out of Nordstrom. They hurt, offer no support and the material smells funny. The sole is made of foam rubber, which wears out quickly. I thought I could only wear them for weekday errands after work etc. but they gave me blisters on my feet and a weird smell. I usually buy Nike Air Monarch and use custom fitted orthotic insoles but since they don't make them anymore I decided to try these Fila shoes. Shoes fit well and look as advertised. Unfortunately, the decline of the shoe industry means that shoe soles are made from an extremely soft material that wears out very quickly. After two weeks of wearing, the soles are so thin that a small amount of dew seeps into the shoes in the parking lot before I get to the building where I work. I refuse to work with wet feet. I like the feel and the shoe is wide enough for my foot but I expect it to last over two weeks before failing.
