FILMEXT MacBook Pro 16 Privacy Screen 2021-2022: Magnetic, Anti-Spy, Bubble-Free Protection For Your Laptop Review

While it does take away the anti glare, i wanted the privacy part to work. If i move a little bit to the side, I can still see every thing on the lowest brightness. And if I were to move back from it by a feet, I can still see the activities on my screen. In order for the screen privacy to kick in, you have to really to the side to see. If someone is on your side, they will be able to see some of it. If someone is behind you, they will see all of it.

I have bought 3 of these they don’t really let the computer close correctly and makes the battery die when it’s suppose to be closed. On my new computer that has a case it closes a little more. It works really well which is why we’ve bought serval the only problem is the closing of the computer sadly

I have used several different Privacy screen manufacturers and sizes over the past 3-4 years, so I know what works for me and what doesn't. I have no problem using this in coffee shops, Recommended!

I chose this product of all the others because it advertises how it comes with a webcam cover but it did not come with it so I’m giving it 2 stars for false advertisement. Installment was easy, it came with alcohol pad, wipe, and dust sticker. Magnet sticked on right away perfectly. I can still see some of the stuff on my screen when looking at the sides but I’m just happy I have some privacy. I have to see how long it will last but I’m happy with it, but don’t buy this product assuming it will

Arrived very fast. Easy install. My Mac actually grabbed it and fit itself almost. Just have to buy a camera cover to prevent spyingPerfect purchase. Keypad cover fit perfect

The sticky part does not hold very well and even when it is on the magnet itself is not strong enough to hold up the screen protector for a long. The screen protector itself is just fine but isn’t much help when it doesn’t stay on the screen

Whoever thought up a magnetic mounting system needs to have their head examined. Yeah, it seems really 'neat', and in a way, it is. It really seems to be a decent product, but was actually too dark for me. It's the mounting system that really did me in. I just can't deal with the bottom of the privacy panel always being able to swing off the screen and you might as well forget about closing the laptop.

cannot close laptop once protector is on, and bottom of privacy screen doesn't stick to your screen - possibly because the magnetic attachment is only at the top but the bottom of the privacy screen floats off the bottom of my screen because it doesn't attach/stick - very disappointing and annoying considering the price

Works as it is described. Webcam cover too. Very satisfied.2 minor points, to which I still don't know the answer:- why are there two extra holes at the top next to the webcam?- do you need to add the anti-glare or is this just additional? (and if so, does the laptop still close when you use the privacy cover on top of it?

I was originally looking for a 3M branded privacy filter. I couldn't find any that fit my MacBook Air M2 screen in their range so I bumped into this one. I ordered it with a bit of skepticism but was satisfactorily surprised with the good quality and fit of this filter. It was super easy to install, the fit is perfect and it allows your laptop to close well. I definitely recommend it.

Works well for those working from home who needs screen privacy. It does prevent the MacBook Pro from closing (maybe less than an inch gap) completely when attached.

Mine either arrived broken or is not the item that was described because there are no web cam blocking screens on it. There is a square cut out. But no screen to block the camera. The magnet and stickers make it easy to install but the only reason I paid extra for this screen protector was for the added feature of blocking my camera when it's not in use. So I didn't get what I paid for.

Works exactly for what it was purchased for - privacy. It was easy to install, and the embedded camera is a nice perk. Would give it 5 over all, but find that sometimes I have to reposition it, but that is easy to slide back into place. (It is minor though)

Overpriced compared to amazon basics option. Tested both. Similar performance other than the camera cover on this one. If that’s a must have this is a better choice.
