🧹 VFBU58260005 Oreck Upright Vacuum with Advanced Filters Review

Perfect for my Oreck XL rack. Had to replace an old outside pocket due to a hopelessly stuck zipper. You don't have to spend a lot of money for the "brand" name.

The holes in the bottom where you attach the plastic holder from the old bag were misaligned and the material was a bit thick so I couldn't zip all the servants. I was able to get it to work and that was the reason for the 4 and not 5 stars.

Restored my 15 year old XL with fresh new parts. Like new - these vacuum cleaners are built to last. Great parts and great service! Don't forget to remove the white clip at the bottom of the old outer case - this will attach your new case to the metal clip and main unit.

Easy to install. Seems to seal well and keeps dust etc out. Not specified, but not too difficult to find out. Don't throw away your old bag until you get a new one. You will need a piece of white plastic from the bottom of the bag, as well as blue plastic pieces holding the inner paper bag in place. I'm glad that the flashy Oreck logo is no longer on the new bag!

This is a well made lightweight version of Oreck's replacement external vacuum bag. However, this bag is not intended to replace the larger Oreck XL 21 external vacuum bag, but a new smaller version or XL Oreck. However, with a bit of skill I adapted it to the larger XL 21. I had to remove the bag's inner brace and add a support at the bottom where the outer bag connects to the WALA. The light version gave my old Oreck 21 a significant boost in suction power. . Now with a new outside pocket it no longer smells. Installed easily, my husband didn't have to get involved. About a year ago I bought an Oreck XL replacement roller and installed it on my 2001 rack. While my vacuum ran like new because the motor was still running great, my unit looked like junk because the outer bag was shredded on the sides. This item made the vacuum cleaner look and work like new again. It took me 25 minutes from the "get a vacuum and find a youtube video" step to completion, including cleaning the entire unit with a paper towel and Windex. You need to remove 2 pieces of bag holder

It is slightly smaller than the Oreck XL-2 outer bag that came with the vacuum and has no internal frame but a very suitable replacement which is well constructed and fits correctly in the holders and contains the correct size filter/inner bag. I gave it five stars because it is a one stop replacement for this range of Oreck vacuums - if you are the person who owns it I would recommend Oreck or a hotel/facility manager who has one of dozens of allows them to be used as an inexpensive substitute
